We are a devoted body of believers who desire to grow spiritually, strengthen our ministries, and reach our community with the Gospel. We are looking for a pastor who will faithfully teach God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, develop leaders, and work collaboratively with our church leadership as we seek God’s direction for the future.

Our Lead Pastor should be a man of strong biblical character who demonstrates:

• A deep commitment to Scripture and faithful biblical preaching
• A shepherd’s heart and genuine love for people
• Humility, integrity, grace, and servant leadership
• An ability to build relationships across generations and backgrounds
• A collaborative approach to leadership and decision-making
• A desire to equip others for ministry and develop future leaders
• A heart for reaching our local community and supporting missions beyond it

Primary Areas of Ministry

• Preach and Teach — Provide clear, engaging, biblically faithful preaching that helps people understand and apply God’s Word.
• Shepherd and Disciple — Care for the congregation and encourage spiritual growth, prayer, discipleship, and healthy relationships.
• Lead Collaboratively — Work closely with the Executive Board, staff, ministry leaders, and congregation in discerning and pursuing God’s vision for New Life.
• Equip Leaders — Encourage, mentor, and develop staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers so that ministry is shared throughout the church.
• Engage the Community — Help New Life build meaningful connections in the Ukiah community and reach people with the Gospel.
• Strengthen Church Life — Promote unity, healthy ministry, missions, worship, and compassionate care for people through all seasons of life.

This is a full-time salaried position with compensation based on qualifications and experience. Benefits may include paid time off, retirement, and medical benefits.

Our hope is to find a pastor who desires not simply to serve a church, but to become part of our church family and the greater Ukiah community as together we follow Christ and reach others with the Gospel.
