Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. Oversees patient care activities, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status through detailed data collection and analysis.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing staff to ensure efficient care delivery.
• Educate patients and families on health management, procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• BLS certification from an approved provider.
• ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
