• Deliver direct nursing care to a patient or assigned group of patients using the nursing process and established standards of care
• Collect relevant data, analyze assessment information, and determine care issues to inform the plan of care
• Develop and implement a care plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes; adjust plans as needed; collaborate with the patient, family, and treatment team
• Supervise and direct duties of various levels of nursing staff; delegate appropriately and coordinate interdisciplinary care
• Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care

• Current California RN license (active)
• BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• ACLS certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• PALS certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• BSN degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg/acute care experience
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and meet the shift/weekend requirements
