Seasonal Retail Cashier​/Customer Service

PAY:
Starting at $17.50 - $18.50 an Hour. $1.00 more per hour for overnight shifts (10 PM - 7 AM).

We are looking for a friendly, energetic cashier to support our stores during the busy summer months. In this role you’ll greet customers with a smile, efficiently operate the register, and complete a variety of tasks including cleaning, stocking merchandise, receiving deliveries, and providing excellent customer service.

. Must be 21+ for this position.

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them to return.
• Provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience at the cashier station.
• Suggest additional purchases to promote store specials and enhance the shopping experience.
• Accurately process sales and merchandise, offering customers available discounts and promotions, while following company policies and all applicable laws, including those related to alcohol and tobacco sales. Must be of legal age to sell and stock these products.
• Keep the store clean and organized, both inside and outside.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed to ensure availability of products.
• Clean the fast-food area, equipment, and stock items as required.
• Follow proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth store operations.

• Flexible availability to support a 24/7 store, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

• The ability to think quickly on your feet and react to change.
• Must be 21 years old due to alcohol and tobacco sales (also includes onsite gambling Nevada locations).

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.
• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in conditions that include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
