The Family Support Specialist is the person in the room when it matters most. If that's the work you're called to do, we'd like to meet you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Work directly with youth and families in the home
    , building trust and supporting daily functioning
  • Help youth develop emotional regulation, communication, and coping skills
  • Collaborate with caregivers, service providers, and your team in a Wraparound framework
  • Document services and track progress within EHR system, an d participate in Child and Family Team meetings
  • Travel to Kids Weekends, in-person trainings, and organizational events as required
HOW WE SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

Our four-phase onboarding program is one of the most structured in our region - and it’s intentional. Before you carry a caseload, you’ll complete:

  • Phase 1: HR & systems orientation
  • Phase 2:
    Program and role foundations
  • Phase 3:
    Wraparound principles and practices
  • Phase 4:
    Supervised shadowing with experienced colleagues
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • 2+ years of experience working with children and families
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Associate's or Bachelor's preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
  • Comfort with trauma-informed frameworks and community-based service settings
  • Comfort working with youth and families navigating high levels of behavioral, emotional, and developmental complexity
  • This position is expected to run from August 2026 through January 2027, with the possibility of extension or transition into an ongoing role based on client enrollment, program expansion, and organizational needs
