We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Reach Air Medical Services. This technician will support our EC135 airframe and ensure timely, high‑quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

  • Starting Salary: $84,811 - $122,937 annually (including 30% geo modifier)
  • IA Stipend: $2,080
  • Sign‑On Bonus: $12,500
Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks, maintain equipment tracking log, place replacement requests and document part expenditures.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhering to policies, procedures and company information‑security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Collaborate and maintain professional relations with allied health, public safety personnel, fellow AMTs and the operations team.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • Three (3) years turbine‑powered helicopter experience
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations
  • Must be acceptable under the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EC135 maintenance experience
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Experience under CFR Parts 91, 135 and 145
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
