Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our hospitality team at a busy Highland hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to develop their career within a stunning Scottish location. The successful candidate will assist in the daily operation of the restaurant, bar and events services, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while supporting and leading the Food & Beverage team.
Live-in accommodation is available for the right candidate.
- Support the Food & Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operation of all F&B outlets.
- Supervise restaurant, bar, breakfast and event service to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.
- Lead, motivate and train team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding professionally and efficiently to enquiries, requests and complaints.
- Assist with staff scheduling, rota management and daily team briefings.
- Monitor service standards, presentation and cleanliness throughout all F&B areas.
- Support stock control, ordering, inventory management and wastage reduction.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing regulations and health & safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and end-of-shift procedures.
- Assist with conference, wedding and special event operations as required.
- Act as Duty Manager when required, providing leadership across the hotel operation.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, restaurant, hotel or bar operations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience working within hotels or resort environments.
- Knowledge of Scottish hospitality and tourism.
- Personal Licence Holder qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid certification.
- Experience using hospitality EPOS and reservation systems.
