The Grant County Sheriff's Office seeks a person to fill a position as Corrections Deputy. This will be a full time position with rotating shifts. Individual must have computer and public relations skills. Interpersonal and communications skills are extremely important. Must have the ability to gather, evaluate, and present information in a concise manner, and be able to work around inmates and other Law Enforcement personnel in a secure environment.
High school diploma or GED is required. Must be 19 years of age, or older, and have a valid Kansas Driver's License. Personal record must show no felony or serious misdemeanor arrests. Must be able to pass a background check. Successful candidates are required to pass a drug test and physical exam.
