The Grant County Health Department is seeking a Full Time Clinical Receptionist/ Community Health Worker to serve as a welcoming and supportive point of contact for clients. This position performs a variety of administrative, clerical, and general support duties while assisting individuals in accessing healthcare and social services. Responsibilities include answering phones, operating computers and office equipment, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service in a professional and confidential manner.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Valid Kansas Driver's License required
- One (1) year of full-time general office support experience
- Knowledge of office procedures, computer applications, and record-keeping systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in healthcare, community outreach, or social services preferred
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a culturally sensitive manner
- Successful candidates are required to pass a drug test and physical exam.
Wage will be based upon education and previous experience. This full time position is offered paid health insurance for employee and family along with a generous benefit package.
