Nurse Resident RN

Our client, a leading health system in Ulysses, KS, is seeking a Nurse Resident RN for the Bob Wilson Memorial Emergency Department. This full-time position is designed for new graduates looking to build their nursing careers through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient care.
• Administer treatments, track vitals, and educate patients and families.
• Engage in a comprehensive, evidence-based Nurse Residency Program to support professional development.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide holistic care across the lifespan.
• Assess ailments and injuries of patients and implement treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with the interprofessional team to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Develop accountability for own practice and coordinate care delivery.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Zero (0) to twelve (12) months of professional nursing (RN) experience.
• Active License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice or primary residency if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Schedule:

• Full-time position with hours that vary.

Compensation:

• $26.95 - $42.99/hour
