Registered Nurse

Our client, a leading health system in Ulysses, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Medical Unit at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital. This is a full-time position with a focus on providing compassionate care to patients in a 26-bed unit.

• Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family.
• Identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
• Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the nursing process.
• Provide care in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Be flexible and willing to cross-train to accommodate labor and delivery if needed.

• Education:
  
  Associates Degree in Nursing required;
  Nursing Diploma or by endorsement. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience:
  
  One year of RN experience; nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  RN License required; current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Medium Work - exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly.

• Full-time position with a weekly schedule of 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

• $30.58 - $42.99/hour
