Commissioning Owners Rep

Our client in the Data Center industry is seeking a Commissioning Owners Rep to join their team. As a Commissioning Owners Rep, you will be part of the testing and validation oversight of data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure in existing operational facilities.  . The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Support vendors, contractors, and teams involved in retro commissioning of data center systems

+ Oversee testing and validation of electrical and mechanical infrastructure in operational facilities

+ Review as-built documents, equipment submittals, and manage third-party commissioning vendors

+ Own project success by resolving technical issues and addressing schedule impacts onsite

+ Audit vendor activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards while minimizing operational impact

** What's Needed?*
* + 5+ years of experience in engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience

+ High technical competency in mechanical, electrical, or control systems used in critical infrastructure

+ Ability to review mechanical or electrical design documentation and provide constructive feedback

+ Experience developing and reviewing commissioning documentation such as test plans, scripts, and reports
