Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Commissioning Engineer to ensure reliable startup, testing, and performance of critical infrastructure across AMER-West data centers. In this role, you'll plan and execute commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, develop and run test scripts, analyze performance data, and drive issue resolution with design, construction, and operations teams. You'll champion rigorous standards, safety, and reliability while supporting rapid expansion of AWS capacity.

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for AWS data centers
- Develop, review, and run detailed commissioning scripts and test procedures
- Analyze system performance data to verify reliability and capacity against design requirements
- Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects and issues with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with design, construction, and operations to improve standards and best practices
- Produce clear technical reports, turnover packages, and documentation
- Support acceptance, handover, and readiness of new capacity for operations
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and reliability standards during commissioning activities
