Key Responsibilities- Perform server rack installations and hardware break‑fix on various components.
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents that affect service availability.
- Carry out routine network, server hardware, and operating system repairs to maintain overall availability of AWS services.
- Serve as the primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance and change‑management activities.
- Engage in on‑call duties to support 24/7 operations.
- Contribute to documentation and process‑improvement initiatives based on operational issue analysis.
- Help interview, train, and onboard new team members.
- Lift and move material up to 40 pounds.
- Work in cramped and/or elevated locations.
- Bend, lift, stretch, and reach as needed.
- Stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely without limitation.
- Work in an industrial environment.
- Work shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations (both night and day shifts).
- Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as needed.
- Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods or until the assigned facility becomes operational.
- Candidates must be able to travel (over 50 miles) or commute (less than 50 miles) to active data center sites as required by business needs.
- Take ownership of technical issues from the customer base and engage other teams for resolution.
- Show strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving, solving problems at root and understanding the broader context.
- Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting.
- Act independently in the absence of direction or support.
- Improve effectiveness through process innovation.
- Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as part of shift work.
- 2+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience or related IT experience.
- 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking (including troubleshooting and repair).
- Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Knowledge of network design, protocols, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix Administration.
- Bachelor's degree in an IT‑related field (e.g., Computer Science, Network Engineering), or experience in professional or military IT‑related roles.
- Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
- Experience training and onboarding of new team members.

Compensation & BenefitsHourly salary range: $30.00 – $54.00 USD (varies by location).
