The Oregon Long-Term Care Ombudsman is seeking RFO Certified Ombudsman volunteers to advocate for individuals with disabilities in care homes across Oregon. Volunteers will identify and resolve complaints through in-home visits and assist residents in ensuring their choices are honored.
Applicants should be at least 18 years old, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and be dependable. A flexible commitment of approximately 16 hours per month is expected.
Comprehensive training will be provided, including initial training and ongoing education to maintain certification.
