Accounting Manager

Well established organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager will be supervising staff overseeing operational accounting finance projects. Responsibilities include overseeing and reviewing AP, AR, Payroll, GL, and month-end close process; approving payments and accounting entries; preparation of quarterly and year end audit; providing financial analysis and evaluation of financial data; preparing trend analyses including revenue and cash flow projection;

developing and maintaining documentation related to system use and internal controls; supervising and coordinating the development and writing of financial and other specialized reports; preparation of financial packages and reports for Board meetings; developing, mentoring, and training staff; and identifying, evaluating, and monitoring generally accepted accounting principles.

Requirements include a BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CPA track, minimum 10+ years in managing full range of financial accounting operations, experience working in non-profit industry, strong management and leadership experience, and strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
