As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our Engineering Department, serving as a hands‑on technical lead designer. You will have project accountability, mentoring responsibilities, and a chance to influence outcomes, ensuring our mechanical systems are not just compliant, but also optimized for real‑world applications.

• Technical Ownership: Manage the mechanical design process from the foundation of design through to permit issuance and final construction documentation.
• Lead Design Execution: Establish design parameters, select systems, size equipment, and define control strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• System Design and Troubleshooting: Design and address challenges related to both air‑side (VAV, DOAS, etc.) and water‑side (hydronic systems, pumping, etc.) mechanical systems.
• QA/QC Responsibility: Ensure quality assurance and control throughout the design process, verifying that all designs meet outlined standards and practical construction viability.
• Field Integration: Provide support during construction with activities such as submittal reviews, resolving RFIs, and participating in site assessments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, guiding them in practical project work, code compliance, and enhancing overall document quality.

• 7+ years of experience in the commercial construction sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. (Required)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license. (Preferred)
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering fundamentals, HVAC systems, and installation standards.
• Knowledge of California and applicable local building codes is essential.
• Proficient in Carrier HAP, Trace 700, Energy Pro, or similar software.
• Proficient in AutoCAD;
  Revit experience is preferred.
