Job Summary
The Salesforce Administrator performs User Management, Data Management, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Process Automation, Change Management, Security Management, and works with business and technical stakeholders to automate and customize the user experience, solving business problems using the Salesforce Platform.
Responsibilities Partner with the Business Community- Provide support to and serve as a point of contact for internal customers who request routine information, data summaries and/or reports. Share knowledge with internal customers about how to produce their own reports and use the system effectively.
- Identify areas of improvement for services provided both internally and outward facing, including measuring and reviewing technology trends. Share results with management.
- Be willing to share knowledge and instruct other members of the department and the company, by passing along skills and information to assist them in their development.
- Develop, deploy, and report on user satisfaction metrics on a quarterly and/or regular basis as needed and under the direction of the IT Applications Manager.
- Assist in making requests, routing routine reporting, and defining a process for report requests.
- Partner with Business Systems Analysts for ERP to assist different functional areas across the company to identify, research, and analyze possible solutions to resolve complex data issues, present impact to the Director of IT Applications, and implement approved solutions.
- Support application users for designated business systems, including Salesforce, Salesforce Field Service, Pardot, EDI Liaison, and Middleware technologies.
- Ensure assigned platforms are highly effective, efficient, and a positive tool to meet business and customer needs.
- Participate in project meetings both internally and with other departments and report on the status of analytical tasks and project work.
- Design, develop, create, and establish Standard Operating procedures and instructions for respective functions under the direction of the Manager. Employ specified analytical tools to access data to provide reportable information on all identified Key Metrics for the delivery of optimized services to customers.
- Manage integrations with Salesforce and other systems, via ETL and/or web services.
- Meet aggressive timelines with high quality results.
- Undertake extensive program and structural database development tasks.
- Implement specified Quality Assurance procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of data generated. Participate in audits and promptly resolve any findings.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for assigned areas; manage change requests and bugs resulting from the UAT processes, ensuring completion and retesting.
- Conduct various audits and analyses, managing system improvements, process improvements, and quality programs.
- Review business requirements and detailed specs to develop test scripts and testing plans with schedule.
- Work on special projects as business needs arise.
- Responsible for cleanliness, organization, and overall department appearance.
- Be willing to share knowledge and instruct other members of the department and the company, by passing along skills and information to assist them in their development.
- Become an independent employee able to analyze problems and formulate plans to overcome challenges and get work done quickly with a high degree of quality. Make sound and logical decisions and choose the appropriate courses of action based on the parameters of the situation at hand and use continual improvement problem solving skills.
- Create an ongoing effort to improve the Company and the IT Applications Department through personal action and by contributing ideas to support both the Department and Company’s ongoing improvement efforts.
