The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, supplier management, logistics, inventory planning, cost control, and risk mitigation. This role develops supply chain strategy, leads cross-functional initiatives, and ensures material availability, cost efficiency, and compliance to support production and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, production plans, and financial targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop supply chain team members.
- Oversee supplier selection, qualification, and contract negotiations to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Build strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
- Resolve issues promptly, manage supplier evaluations, and lead performance reviews.
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Oversee inventory, logistics, and warehouse activities to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize procurement technologies to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve processes, systems, and cost structure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience managing suppliers, contracts, logistics, and inventory strategies.
- Experience in semiconductor, precision, or high-tech manufacturing.
- Familiarity with global sourcing, international logistics, and trade compliance.
- Experience leading cost-reduction and supply chain transformation initiatives.
