Arcosa Shoring Products is seeking a 1st shift Mobile Equipment Operator for our Union City, MI plant. Arcosa Shoring Products makes trench shoring equipment for the construction industry. Our dedicated teams builds high quality, life saving trench shields and shoring products that are made to last.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Mobile Equipment Operator, you'll operate mobile equipment such as lift trucks, cranes, and yard vehicles in order to move materials and products for shipment. You'll ensure proper identification of parts and materials. Moves incoming and outgoing equipment for storage etc. Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Stage rental orders, load and unload truck with fork truck.
Check in material trucks. Was rental equipment upon its return. Assist with checking incoming and outgoing trucks.
This is an outdoor position 99% of the time. You will need to work in all types of weather. Performs other duties as assigned.
Monday - Friday 6am-3:30pm

Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Ability to safely and efficiently perform all essential functions
- Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment
- Regular and predictable attendance
