- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on sheet metal parts, weldments, and assemblies.
- Verify materials, cut sizes, hole locations, bends, and overall dimensions against engineering drawings and work orders.
- Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, angle finders, and other precision instruments.
- Identify defects such as scratches, dents, warping, or improper forming and report non-conformances.
- Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry codes.
- Assist in continuous improvement of quality procedures and best practices on the shop floor.
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

- Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry codes.
- Assist in continuous improvement of quality procedures and best practices on the shop floor.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or training in manufacturing or quality is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in a sheet metal or fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency with common inspection tools and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry into QMS or ERP systems).
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Forklift certification or experience handling metal parts safely.
