Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients from infancy through adolescence. This role focuses on preventive health, growth and development monitoring, and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. The ideal candidate is committed to building long-term relationships with families and delivering accessible, patient-centered pediatric care in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Job Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive pediatric care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
- Perform well-child visits, developmental screenings, immunizations, and school/sports physicals.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses, infections, minor injuries, and other pediatric conditions.
- Develop and manage treatment plans for common chronic conditions such as asthma and allergies.
- Accommodate same-day sick visits to ensure timely access to care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on preventive health, nutrition, developmental milestones, and wellness strategies.
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions to families.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, clinical staff, and support team members to deliver coordinated care.
- Make appropriate referrals to specialists and community resources as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to a welcoming, family-centered clinic environment.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license (or eligible for licensure).
- BLS and/or PALS certification preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and clinical documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a family-centered approach.
- Prior Outpatient Pediatric Experience Preferred.
- Experience providing preventive and same-day care is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is advantageous but not required.
