Position Title

Technician, General Facilities Maintenance at Walmart

$19.00/hr – $35.00/hr

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment in Walmart stores.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned PMs within the required timeframe.
• Conduct training for Store Associates regarding equipment care and cleaning.
• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by providing required written and electronic information (expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs).

• 3+ years of experience in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, or food equipment.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license held for at least three years with a clean driving record; ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (if required).
• Strong customer service orientation, clear communication, and respectful behavior.
• Excellent time management, personal accountability, and adaptability to changing demands.
• Teamwork and servant leadership mindset.

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical trade program.
• License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located.
• Proficiency in intermediate-level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
