Security Officer Patrol Access Monitor
Union City, GA – Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to secure a busy logistics and distribution site, ensuring the safety of clients, visitors, and staff while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining operational integrity.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time - Thursday 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Friday 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Saturday 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Sunday 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers, verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior.
- Support daily site operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, communicating with client representatives and first responders when needed, and assisting with security‑related procedures during deliveries, shift changes, and facility openings or closings.
- At least 21 years of age for this role.
- Access control and badge experience preferred.
- Alarm panel experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Background investigation and drug screening will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Eligible for consideration of applicants with criminal histories in compliance with applicable laws.
- Licensing requirements may apply and may need to be satisfied prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
