Privately held consumer products company located in Union City, NJ is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its leadership team. The company operates a vertically integrated model across design, manufacturing, and distribution, with a strong reputation and long-standing customer relationships. This is a high‑impact role for a hands‑on finance leader.

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team,
• Oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting and internal controls
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range financial planning
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital
• Oversee inventory accounting and cost accounting, partnering closely with operations to improve margins
• Maintain relationships with lenders, including oversight of credit facilities and borrowing‑base reporting
• Partner with sales and operations on pricing, profitability and retailer‑related deductions/chargebacks
• Build and lead a high‑performing finance team while enhancing systems and processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership experience
• Background in manufacturing, consumer products, wholesale/retail, or other inventory‑heavy environments
• Strong expertise in inventory, cost accounting and working capital management
• Experience managing lender relationships and debt facilities
• Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution
• Strong communication and business partnering skills
