Senior Investment Analyst - Multifamily

New York City (Hybrid) A growing real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join its investment team focused on a nationwide multifamily portfolio. This is an opportunity to work directly alongside senior leadership in a highly entrepreneurial environment, gaining hands-on exposure across acquisitions, asset management, and portfolio strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong underwriting and financial modeling skills with an interest in property operations and value creation.

• Underwrite acquisitions and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain detailed acquisition, asset management, and portfolio-level financial models.
• Support due diligence, investment committee presentations, transaction execution, and post-closing transitions.
• Monitor the financial and operational performance of a nationwide portfolio of manufactured housing communities.
• Analyze monthly results, identify performance trends, and recommend strategies to increase NOI and asset value.
• Assist with annual budgets, business plans, and multi-year financial forecasts.
• Evaluate capital projects, infill opportunities, home sales programs, community expansions, and other value-creation initiatives.
• Conduct market research on occupancy, rental rates, competitive communities, operating trends, and acquisition opportunities.
• Partner with property management, accounting, capital markets, and senior leadership to execute investment strategies.
• Support refinancings, dispositions, lender reporting, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
• Prepare investor, lender, and executive reporting materials.

• 2-5 years of commercial real estate experience in acquisitions, asset management, investment analysis, or real estate private equity.
• Strong financial modeling, underwriting, and analytical capabilities.
• Experience evaluating real estate investments and preparing investment recommendations.
• Understanding of IRR, NPV, cap rates, cash-on-cash returns, and discounted cash flow analysis.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience with manufactured housing, multifamily, self-storage, or another residential asset class.
• Exposure to acquisition underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution.
• Experience analyzing property-level operating performance, budgets, and forecasts.
• Familiarity with manufactured housing value drivers, including occupancy, rent growth, home sales, infill, utility reimbursements, and capital planning.
• Background working within an institutional or entrepreneurial real estate investment platform.
