As a Security Officer Access Part Time Driver in Union City, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

How This Role Works:

* Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

* Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor check-in protocols, badge verification, and/or security-related response activities as appropriate for the location.

* Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel, documenting arrivals and departures and reporting irregular activity to site contacts.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation procedures for the location.

* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and access points, noting conditions that could impact operations and reporting concerns.

* Help to deter unauthorized access by verifying credentials, controlling gate and lobby traffic, and supporting screening procedures for people, vehicles, and/or materials entering or leaving the location.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

* Be 21+ years of age.

* A guard card or license is preferred.

* Loss prevention experience is preferred.

* Access control and badge experience are preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
