Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveying systems, etc) using blueprints and diagrams to verify equipment operates within specifications;
Identify root causes of basic mechanical issues and perform repairs by welding, fabricating parts, basic pipe fitting or replacing defective components;
Identify unsafe conditions and correct them; report to appropriate personnel if unable to correct on own;
Assist with maintaining a file of blueprints and operating manuals and procedures as needed;
Work in compliance with all company policies and safety guidelines
