What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
- Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports.
- Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off‑hour delivery.
- Drive tractor‑trailer to destination, applying commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and customer premises.
- Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
- Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL‑A).
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks.
