Aboutthe Role
As a Construction Materials Testing & Inspection Intern, you will work in the field performing testing and inspections on soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials. This internship provides exposure to construction quality assurance and field engineering practices.
Responsibilities- Perform field and laboratory tests on construction materials under supervision
- Document and report results in accordance with project specifications
- Assist in observing and recording construction site conditions
- Support project engineers with data entry, reporting, and compliance checks
- Learn applicable testing standards
- Currently enrolled in civil engineering, construction management, or related program
- Interest in fieldwork, construction processes, and hands‑on testing
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
Interns will gain first‑hand experience in construction quality control, learn how field testing supports project success, and develop professional field reporting skills.
