Seasonal Grader Operators

The County seeks Seasonal Grader Operators. This is a seasonal position for approximately 16 weeks, from May 4 to approximately August 28, 2026.

Part of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.

Lac Ste. Anne County is currently recruiting to fill Seasonal Grader Operator Positions.

The successful applicants will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the grader assigned to them and must ensure safe work practices are observed at all times.

Primary duties include grader operations in various geographical areas of Lac Ste. Anne County.

• Previous experience operating a Grader is required.
• Must be adaptable and versatile and possess good communication skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently and efficiently.
• Must possess sound knowledge of, and commitment to, all aspects of a safe work environment, as well as a willingness to take and follow direction.
• Must provide a driver’s abstract. Employees are required to provide their own transportation.
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots are required for this position.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum completed high school diploma or equivalent (GED); post-secondary education in a related field considered an asset.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex and technical information.
• Strong customer relations skills and the ability to interact with the general public on a daily basis.

Hours of Work: 44 hours per week
