Position: EHS Officer (f/m/d) for SE GT TR

How You Will Contribute

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by interpreting internal and external EHS requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping bridge gaps to align operations with Siemens Energy standards.
  • Champion the advancement of a proactive safety culture by implementing initiatives based on human and organizational performance principles, while guiding teams involved in critical risk activities such as lifting operations, machine safety, energy isolation, and work at height.
  • Partner with sustainability and carbon‑neutrality teams to monitor environmental programs, support implementation efforts, and oversee reporting activities across transformer manufacturing facilities.
  • Lead investigations into EHS incidents using structured root cause analysis methodologies, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented and leveraging data insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange by engaging regularly with Grid Technologies Transformer leadership and the wider EQS network, sharing lessons learned and promoting best practices across locations.
What You Bring
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with substantial EHS experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in Grid Technologies or a similar industrial sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of EHS management systems, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001, complemented by experience in auditing, compliance reviews, and incident investigation. Occupational safety certification is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in facilitating workshops, conducting assessments, coaching teams, and leading investigations that strengthen organizational capability and accountability.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultural environments. Additional proficiency in German, Portuguese, or Spanish would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel periodically in support of international operations and cross‑site collaboration.
