Location: European Union About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced CMC client relationship professional to join a global pharmaceutical services organisation in a senior, highly visible position. You’ll be responsible for developing trusted relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech clients and ensuring their needs are effectively understood and delivered across international teams.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships across technical, quality, regulatory and commercial functions.
- Act as the key link between clients and internal scientific and operational teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Oversee multiple CMC programs at a strategic level, managing expectations, priorities, risks and escalations.
- Translate technical and project information into clear, commercially relevant messages for different client audiences.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and support account growth and future business
. - Participate in client governance meetings, proposals and senior-level discussions.
- Influence teams across different functions and geographies without direct authority.
- Represent the organisation professionally and help promote a consistent, high-quality client experience.
- MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Chemistry or a related discipline
. - At least 5 years’ experience in Pharma, CRO or CDMO environments.
- Demonstrable client-facing CMC experience within drug development or manufacturing.
- Good understanding of CMC processes, with the ability to engage credibly with technical teams and clients.
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese (C1/C2) and excellent English – essential.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to manage complex or challenging situations.
- Commercially aware, diplomatic and comfortable working across international teams and cultures
. - A background in analytical, organic, synthetic chemistry or biochemistry would be advantageous.
