Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc., a Kajima company, is a Hawaii-based company with roots dating back to 1902 when Walter Dillingham obtained a contract to dredge a channel into Pearl Harbor. Since that first dredging project, Hawaiian Dredging has evolved into a leader in the construction industry with projects ranging from the building of residential and military housing, major shopping centers, hotels, resorts, condominiums, office buildings and parking structures to highways, military facilities, industrial projects and renovation and repair work in Hawaii.

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific has awarded DHO JV a $2.8 billion task order under an $8 billion indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award construction contract awarded in November 2021 to DHO JV to replace a dry dock at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility at Joint Base Pearl Harbor.

We primarily employ carpenters, laborers, operating engineers, masons, machinists and pipe fitters. We are signatory to collective bargaining agreements with the following unions listed below and are subject to the hiring rules of each collective bargaining agreement. Quarterly, we anticipate hiring for projects on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, Molokai and Kauai as work becomes available and will be contacting the respective union to fill these positions.

• Must be able to obtain DBIDs  Federal U.S. Navy project on base.
• Must be willing to work outside, day and nights.
• Maintain appropriate certifications and credentials.
