Position Overview

Are you ready to practice high quality medicine in an upscale suburban area? We are seeking a full-time associate veterinarian in Montclair, NJ! We are a privately-owned small animal practice with a brand new state-of-the-art facility and an excellent clientele. We value a low-stress environment where the doctors, support staff, and clients all work together for the health of our patients.

The majority of our patients are insured, allowing you the freedom to practice proper medicine without having to constantly shortcut your medical plans. Our client demographic is largely professionals and families who value their pets as a true part of their family. We opened our facility in late 2024, after it was completely renovated from the ground up. Our sizeable staff-only second floor has multiple doctor offices, a large kitchen/break room, and a beautiful conference room.

The full time doctor schedule includes 4 weekdays and a half day every other Saturday. We allocate 1.5-2 hours each weekday (depending on your needs) to have lunch and catch up on calls and charts.

• Practice high quality medicine, offering appropriate testing and treatments to all clients
• Have a great personality and enjoy taking the time to speak with clients about their questions and concerns
• Perform neuters, spays, growth removals, and dentals
• Manage their time well to complete charts and calls within the hours of their shift
