Adjunct Faculty – Physical Therapy

Position to teach Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy lab and/or Psychosocial Aspects of Physical Therapy lecture courses in‑person at the Union campus. A licensed physical therapist in New Jersey with a minimum of one year post‑graduate clinical experience is required.

• Teach designated labs and/or lecture courses (1–4 credit classes).
• Provide office hours: 1 hour per week for each 3‑credit class; 30 minutes per week for each additional class; 30 minutes per week for classes with fewer than 3 credits.
• Avail office hours in person or virtually as scheduled.

• New Jersey licensed physical therapist.
• Master’s degree in a related field; ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D., or comparable doctoral degree acceptable.
• At least one year post‑graduate clinical experience.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Proficiency in a Learning Management System.

• Pay per credit: $2,100 (effective September 2025) and $2,225 (effective September 2026); additional $75 per credit after 13 semesters.
• Enrollment in a state‑administered retirement plan when eligible.
• Eligibility for the Part‑Time State Health Benefits Program (medical & prescription drug coverage).

Teaching primarily at Union campus; possible assignments to other New Jersey campuses or online via Kean Global.
