The RoleThis is a high-impact role for a technically grounded Project Manager who wants to be at the center of a rapidly scaling operation. As Project Manager II, you will serve as the primary mission control for complex, custom-engineered projects, bridging the gap between a signed contract and final delivery.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager Supervisor, you will lead the coordination between customers, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure every project is executed with precision, on time, and under budget.
Primary Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Plan and direct all activities for designated projects, ensuring goals are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and quality standards.
- Technical Interpretation: Evaluate customer specifications and drawings to create accurate bills of materials (BOM).
- Design & Submittal Review: Review engineering submittals for technical and contractual accuracy and oversee the initial design of electrical distribution equipment.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate daily with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to move projects through the production lifecycle.
- Customer Advocacy: Provide direct post-sales support, managing change orders, resolving site-level challenges, and coordinating final deliveries.
Must Have:
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years of experience within the LV/MV Switchboard, Panel board, or Switchgear manufacturing industry.
- Technical Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Compliance Mastery: Strong working knowledge of electrical distribution systems and UL standards (UL891, UL1558, UL67, UL50/E).
- Operational Excellence: High proficiency in Excel and the ability to navigate ERP systems for order entry and material tracking.

This is a full time onsite role in Union, NJ, to ensure tight coordination with our local engineering and manufacturing teams.
