Position SummaryLincoln Electric Products Co. Inc. we are seeking a proven Switchgear Project Manager to join its dynamic team and the growing organization. This role is available immediately and provides a great growth opportunity for the right candidate. It is a full‑time, exempt position, and the candidate will report directly to the Project Manager‑Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the initial design and project Management Of Electrical Distribution Equipment, including Panel boards, Switchboards, and Circuit breakers.
At Lincoln Electric Products Co. Inc., Project Management begins at Stage 1, which is Engineering. This means the Project Manager is involved right from the start of the project lifecycle, leading the coordination of engineering activities, ensuring design specifications are met, and setting the foundation for successful execution. It's a hands‑on role that combines technical understanding with cross‑functional leadership.
Job Responsibilities- Focus is switch gear projects for commercial construction, commercial facilities, and OEMs.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Designing and drawing Switchboards/ Panel boards.
- Reviewing outgoing engineering submittal drawings for technical and contractual accuracy.
- Evaluating and interpreting customer specifications and drawings to create an accurate bill of materials.
- Providing phone support and direct interaction with customers and employees to obtain sales.
- Reviewing returned drawings and submittals of same, analyzing and processing mark-up/comments, and communicating changes to the internal and external stakeholders.
- Review contract documents, interpret technical specifications to ensure product compliance, and prepare change order pricing and quotations if needed.
- Coordinate and facilitate the completion of Short Circuit and Coordination Studies.
- Releasing equipment for production and delivery to an in-house shop.
- Coordinating deliveries with customers.
- Enter orders into the company ERP software system.
- Configure and order long lead time major materials/components for the project.
- Perform visits to survey site layout and logistical challenges as needed.
- Provide post-sales support for equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years within the industry.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical power systems.
- Good knowledge of Industry UL standards and NEC standards.
- Proficiency with MS Excel.
- Ability to collaborate with team members.
