Mechanical Sales Engineer – Aerospace​/Defense

Responsibilities

• Permanent position for a Mechanical Sales Engineer with technical sales experience for aerospace components and systems.
• Generate sales for fluid control products for aerospace applications.
• Develop and closing on new and existing aerospace and industrial business accounts.
• Work on business development for a multitude of projects and clients.
• Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships and accounts.
• Generate and contribute to the overall revenue of multiple programs and projects.

• BS Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering Sales and Project Management.
• Strong technical acumen, knowledge of fluid control products and material science.
• Experience as a deal closer in highly technical sales markets.
• Significant personal motivation, goal orientation, diligence, and attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience networking and building relationships with clients, customers and suppliers within the Aerospace Industry.
• Knowledge of variety of components, systems, technologies and processes within the Aerospace Industry.
• Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more of the time.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to achieve established deadlines.
