Senior Tax Accountant - CPA Firm

Responsibilities

• Review and provide compliance with federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profits as well as high net-worth individuals;
  Will also serve some multi-state and international entities and customers
• Strategic tax planning
• Compliance with current tax laws and regulations;
  Client communication and representation to tax authorities
• Risk management
• Collaboration with other departments

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
  Masters a plus
• CPA or EA or pursuing preferred
• Minimum of 4+ years with 1040's, as well as small to mid-sized business S-Corp, C-Corp and Partnership and some Hight Net-Worth tax filing, planning, and strategic services
• Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple deliverables simultaneously
• IRS e-Filings
• CCH Walters Kluwer software a plus
