What you will do
We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to work within the finance team and collaborate cross‑functionally to help close our books, reconcile our budgets, and forecast. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and Accounting, responsibilities will include assisting the finance team with the monthly close, reporting and planning.
This role is based in our Union, NJ (metro NYC) headquarters with a hybrid (3 days a week in office) schedule.
Responsibilities- Conduct month end closing analysis and review financial information for accuracy including collaboration with parent company and external auditors
- Manage monthly and recurrent FP&A deliverables and KPI reporting
- Assist in budget reconciliation for monthly financial closes and preparation of financial forecasts in collaboration with our cross‑functional teams
- Review and calculate monthly COGS and forecast future COGS – identify opportunities for automation within this process
- Compile & calculate broker commissions
- Manage Sage and compile & reconcile T&E expenses across team
- Identify financial trends to determine present and future financial performance and recommend improvements accordingly
- Participate in building and presenting monthly leadership team financial close and forecast reviews and any ad‑hoc analysis requests
- Perform analyses to support other finance initiatives (pricing, SKU rationalization, customer and channel profitability, etc.)
- Manage Data Flow across tech stack
- Manage and upkeep finance Power BI dashboard

Qualifications- 1‑3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, operations analysis, accounting, M&A or auditing; manufacturing or CPG experience a plus
- Must be able to work independently and be self‑motivated
- High attention to detail with exceptional level of accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills: demonstrated ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets; advanced knowledge of Excel functions
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines on‑time and in‑full, prioritize, and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
- Proven ability to build strong, cross‑functional relationships and add value as a finance partner
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Hybrid (3 days a week in office) based in Union, NJ
- Travel up to 5%
- Reports to Sr. Director, Head of Finance & Accounting
