Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Sonography Technologist for the Radiology Department at Overlook Medical Center. Department needs a candidate that can work varied shifts, including weekends and on call.
Responsibilities- Qualified candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing GE and Siemens equipment.
- Candidate is required to perform general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small parts, breast, OB, pelvic and vascular exams.
- Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player
- Comfortable performing exams in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- ARDMS required
- The ideal candidate should have 2+ years’ experience preferred
