Life Station is seeking a strategic and operationally sharp VP of Finance to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. Reporting to the CFO of the family of companies, this full time in-office position based in our Union, NJ headquarters will own all aspects of the company's finance and accounting function — from day-to-day financial operations to long-range strategic planning — while serving as a trusted business partner across the organization.

This is a high-impact role for a leader who thrives at the intersection of financial rigor and business strategy. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in subscription-based, preferably with experience in healthcare business models, a hands-on approach, and the ability to build scalable finance infrastructure to support rapid growth.

What You Will Do Lead, Manage & Hold Team Accountable
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team spanning FP&A and revenue cycle management. Directly partner with accounting and financial operations shared service functions and manage accountability for Life Station.
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, analytical rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct consistent 1:1s and team meetings; own EOS annual and quarterly goals (rocks) for the finance function.
  • Oversee performance management, coaching, and career development for all direct reports.
Financial Planning & Budgeting
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, and short-term forecasting.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial statements, KPI reporting, and dashboard visibility into business performance.
  • Present financial results and key drivers to executive leadership and ownership.
  • Partner with the President on continuous improvements to KPIs, reporting, and insights.
Financial Strategy & Business Leadership
  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities.
  • Provide strategic insights to support expansion initiatives including new product lines, reimbursement models, channel partnerships, and M&A opportunities.
  • Advise the executive team on financial implications of operational decisions, pricing strategies, and capital allocation.
  • Serve as a trusted partner in important customer and vendor negotiations.
  • Oversee revenue modeling for subscription-based PERS services.
  • Lead the Medicaid claims team to optimize the collection process, supported by an active Scorecard.
  • Analyze customer acquisition costs (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), churn trends, and retention strategies across DTC and B2B channels.
  • Partner with product and commercial teams on pricing, reimbursement, and payer strategies.
  • Manage cost structures across all departments with tracking mechanisms in place.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare-related billing, financial regulations, and accounting standards (GAAP).
  • Own bank reporting under supervision of the Group CFO.
