The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for marketing all SACC events and workshops/classes through social media, website updates, and printed pieces.
Essential Functions of the Job:- Maintain open communication with the program and operations managers
- Work with Union Marketing to develop SACC print pieces (Calendar booklet, window clings, digital screens, posters, etc.
- Manage social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, and bi-weekly newsletter
- Check engagements on social media platforms
- Research and implement new marketing strategies
- Prepare marketing materials for SACC special events
- Regularly update our UWM website
- Work with staff on studio signage
- Continuously seek out new opportunities to promote the Craft Centre
- Must enjoy working with people
- Must have a working knowledge of all the areas in the studio or be willing to learn more
- Must be willing to work SACC special events
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with social media platforms, including video marketing
- Must have the ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate SACC equipment
- This position involves working in an area with infrequent temperatures and noise
