English Language Development (ELD) – Nurse Summer 2026–2027 Program

Location: Union Canal Elementary School

Dates: July 27, 2026 – July 31, 2026

Hours: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

• Certified School Nurse: $43.00 per hour
• Non-Certified Nurse:
  Paid at board-approved hourly rate

We are seeking a qualified Nurse to support students during our English Language Development (ELD) summer program. The nurse will provide health services, ensure student safety, and support the medical needs of multilingual learners in a school setting.

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and first aid.
• Monitor and respond to student health needs and medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate student health records and documentation.
• Support implementation of student health plans (e.g., care plans, 504s).
• Collaborate with staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and staff, including those from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

• Valid nursing license.
• Pennsylvania School Nurse Certification preferred.
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Commitment to confidentiality and student well-being.
