Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing, patient-centered dermatology practice. The ideal candidate is an experienced dermatology provider who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.

This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to care for an established patient population while working alongside a highly skilled and supportive team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of medical dermatologic conditions.
• Perform comprehensive skin cancer screenings and full-body skin examinations.
• Diagnose and manage conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, skin infections, and other dermatologic disorders.
• Perform in-office procedures including shave, punch, and excisional biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage (ED&C), and other minor surgical procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive skin care.
• Review pathology results and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure the highest quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• National board certification.
• DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
• Minimum of two years of dermatology experience required.
• Demonstrated experience managing medical dermatology patients and performing common dermatologic procedures.
• Cosmetic dermatology experience, including injectables and laser procedures, is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to efficiently manage a busy clinic schedule while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
