Overview

Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities
  • Lead the activities of team members on shift.
  • Provide friendly customer service by engaging with travelers and resolving customer concerns.
  • Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures and checklists in accordance with company policies.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
  • Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
  • Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
  • Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
  • Assist in training new team members.
  • Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Inform plaza leadership of observations, concerns, or problems.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Experience & Skills
  • Cash handling and customer service experience required.
  • Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
Requirements
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently bend, twist, lift, and carry at least 40 pounds.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse with customers.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
