Position: Home Electrical Service Technician

What You’ll Handle
  • Run residential service and repair calls—including complex diagnostics.
  • Evaluate and fix issues across home electrical systems.
  • Identify risks early to reduce failures and callbacks.
  • Present options clearly (repair/replace), discuss financing, and explain service agreements.
  • Track performance metrics and meet revenue and service goals.
Must-Haves
  • Proven residential troubleshooting experience.
  • Comfort with tech:
    Service Titan, iPads/tablets, and digital invoicing.
  • Strong communication skills with homeowners.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and local codes.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
  • Fluent in English.
Physical Requirements & Conditions
  • Regularly lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, reach overhead, and work in tight or hot/cold spaces (including crawl spaces).
  • Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and stooping; manual dexterity for tools/controls.
  • Close vision and focus adjustment needed for detailed tasks.
  • Outdoor and indoor work through all seasons based on the job scope.
