Delivery driver

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Union, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers.

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations
• Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Use GPS navigation systems to plan and optimize delivery routes
• Interact professionally with customers, addressing any concerns and collecting signatures when required
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the supervisor
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Handle cash transactions accurately when required
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
• Physical ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred
• Experience with loading and unloading cargo
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be required depending on the vehicle type

• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
• The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions

• Standing – most tasks are performed from a standing position
• Walking – tasks may involve walking around the facility
• Lifting – bulk product deliveries and cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5'
• Carrying – items such as large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough totaling up to 30 pounds may be carried
• Pushing – moving trays placed on dollies or pallets requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds
• Climbing – occasional navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance or sign changes
• Forward bending – necessary at the pizza assembly station and while stocking ingredients or at the front counter
• Crouching/Squatting – performed occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas
• Reaching – continuous reaching up, down, and forward during work activities
• Hand Tasks – eye-hand coordination and forceful use of forearms and wrists during pizza dough shaping and other tasks
