Timken in Union, South Carolina is seeking a heat treat operator to perform a variety of heat treat operations on production parts. You will set up/operate furnaces, control quenching, and ensure parts meet hardness and dimensional specifications.
Responsibilities include conducting size and hardness checks, recording equipment usage, assisting carburizing and hardening processes, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Overtime and rotation shifts may be required.
